• All prices include taxes.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• All invoices are to be paid upon receipt
• Clients provide all text and photos to be included in the website, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
• Key in hand” websites refers to the owner of the website taking full control of (updates, modifications and maintenance etc.) once the website has been uploaded to the web.
• The client should expect an approximate 2 week time frame for having their site created and uploaded to the web. This time frame is set for a simple 5 page website. Larger websites, or e-commerce websites may take a longer period of time to create.
• After the website has been uploaded to the web, the client has a 2 week period to review it, and make the necessary changes and/or additions, before additional maintenance charges apply.
• Updates are posted to the web within 24-48 hours.
• No updates or maintenance will be made on any website without a written request from the client.
• No updates or maintenance will be performed on any website until the previous invoice has been paid.
• All websites created by HAL Designs are the property of the client, including images and content. HAL Designs will release all website material, including password and account information, to the client at the client’s written request.
• HAL Designs will release control as technical contact and/or Administrative contact at the website owner’s written request.
• Maintenance charges are charged at a rate of $30.00 per hour. A maintenance log is kept of work performed and may be provided upon request.
• A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the initial website design is required upon booking. Balance is due once the website design is approved by the client for upload to the web, unless otherwise specified.
• A 20% compound interest will be charged monthly on the original balance owing after the 30 day period has expired if an invoice has not been paid in full.
